Now, the responsibility means that the studio of 200 people will be responsible for looking after the Blizzard games that currently exists as well as other initiatives. This further means that, any games that the studio Vicarious Visions is going to develop in the future, they will not have full control over it, they won’t be considered the lead developing studio in Blizzard.
Blizzard wanted the studio to work for them for a long period of time after both of them worked together on the previous projects. Blizzard said that they made a great relationship with Vicarious Visions in their past projects and though that the studio could further work with them in the future. So, far, Blizzard has not told that which game the studio Vicarious Visions is developing but according to a report, Blizzard is focused on developing three games, the first is the Diablo Immortal, sequels to Overwatch and Diablo, but reports from Bloomberg have confirmed that the studio Vicarious Visions has been developing the Diablo franchise, currently focused on the Diablo II remake.
After the merging of the two studios, the head of Vicarious Visions is now promoted to a position of an executive vice president when it comes to developing at Blizzard. Vicarious Visions, this studio was founded in the year 1990, and have a portfolio of working on Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, and especially Crash Bandicoot.
