More information of Samsung’s unrecognized Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds with active noise cancelation leaked, along with the price.
The WalkingCat posted slides on the social media website Twitter, which showcased that Galaxy Buds Pro’s price will cost around $199 in order to ship, which would make them almost $80 cheaper when compared to the QuietComfort Earbuds by Bose.
Samsung’s pro buds will have a good IPX7 resilience against dust and water, and up to 8 hours of listening time, which can be expanded to 28 hours with the charging case. WalkingCat offers this useful graph to compare specs across all of Samsung’s wireless buds.
A slide that displayed a view of the noise-cancelling earbuds was posted by WalkingCat also, showing that the 11mm woofer came with 6.5mm tweeter.
The slide also promotes rumors about an Apple-like spatial audio feature. At $199, the Buds Pro will be $50 cheaper than Apple’s AirPods Pro wireless buds. Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro looks very compatible with Apple’s best buds, at least on paper.
New slides look close to those released yesterday by WalkingCat, showing specifications of Samsung’s $699 Galaxy Chromebook 2. Soon we’ll know if they’re permissible. The big CES show is coming up and Samsung is hosting its own event in January for the planned launch of the Galaxy S21 series. The Galaxy Buds Professional is reported to pack a 61mAh battery within each bud, with a 472mAh battery in the charging case. As per the most recent leak, buds can offer up to 8 hours of playtime at a single rate. The case will give buds another 20 hours of life. You get a maximum of 4.5 hours of speaking time alone with your buds, or as many as 15 hours with your case.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds Professional alongside the Galaxy S21 early next month. The completely new buds could come in the colors of Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and Phantom Violet.
